Fund Raising

The annual fees collected from parents each year do not cover the whole of the school's expenditure for the academic year. Therefore the primary function of the school's committee is to raise additional funds for the school to cover the shortfall and to make financial provision for future improvements.

From time to time, as part of the committee’s fundraising initiatives, there will be food and items offered for sale to the children and parents during school hours. These include, gifts for parents at Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day and Father’s Day, hot dogs, doughnuts, souvlakia, loukoumades and beverages.

We will send out notifications when such events are to be held to pre-warn the parents.

Participation is entirely voluntary. For those children that would like to participate parents can provide them with a little extra money on that particular day to cover the cost. Parents that would rather their child did not participate should ensure their child is clear about their decision and if necessary communicate this to the child’s teacher at the start of school.

Our largest fund-raising activity throughout the year is the school’s annual Dinner & Dance. Parents can support the school to raise funds by:
• purchasing tickets to attend the event with family and friends
• purchasing raffle tickets
• placing an advert in our Dinner & Dance brochure
• making a cash donation towards the cost
• donating items to be used as prizes for the raffle

You are also able to make a donation via the GPA GoFundMe page, your support and kind donations are most appreciated and we thank you for all your continued support. Click here to make a contribution.
