Enrolment

School enrolment occurs at the end of the academic year in early July and at the beginning of the new academic year in September.

We are able to admit new pupils after the start of the academic year. Any applications received for enrolment after the new school term has commenced will be considered on an individual case by case basis, and will be subject to availability.

We run classes from nursery to GCSE and we accept children from the age of 3+ years and if they are out of nappies.

Places at our school are limited and priority is always given to siblings of already attending pupils.

Any remaining places are allocated on a "first come first served" basis.

Once classes become full we operate a waiting list system.

In the first instance, please contact us with your child's name and age so that we can see if there are any spaces in the appropriate year group. We will then help you quickly through the enrolment process.

Registration forms must be completed at the time of enrolment and then repeated at the beginning of each subsequent year that your child remains at the school. Any change to details provided for your child should be notified to the school as soon as possible. We offer a two-week free trial period for new students to give them an opportunity to settle in to their new surroundings. If you decide not to keep your child at our school after the two-week period then we will not charge you any fees. If your child is happy to stay then we will make a charge, which will be backdated to cover also the first two weeks.

Your child will initially be placed in the class suitable to his/her age. However, your child’s ability will be assessed by the teacher and head teacher during the two-week trial period and if it is appropriate to do so, we will make a recommendation to you as to whether your child should stay in that same class or be moved to another class.

Parents of children hoping to join the school are encouraged to come and have a look around our school premises, to meet with the head-teacher and members of the committee. The best time to visit would be between 10.15am and 12.15pm on Saturday when the school is open.
